Banana Bug

Life has been so busy lately! I love my new job, but I don't particularly love the 40 minute drive home at night. By the time I get home I put the kids in bed and I am ready for bed myself. My mother assures me this will get better and I will get used to it, but with my schedule always changing it may take a couple of weeks longer than normal. I need to figure out how to start exercising to give myself more energy. After all, I can not advise my clients on how to incorporate activity into their day if I cannot do it myself.

Jessica has been here all week on Spring Break and I have loved having her around, although I feel like I have not been much fun. I have been at work most of the time and I have tried to stay up, but I just couldn't do it. This is another reason I need more energy, so I can spend time with people that come to visit. Speaking of which, EVERYONE should come visit. We miss our friends!!

We Have Survived

Well, we are on our second week of me with a new job and the kids in daycare. Cade and Savannah are doing so great!! Cade does not cry any more and Savannah is eating really well. Cade still has a cold, but I think that just goes with the territory.
I am loving my new job. I have not been able to meet with clients yet, but the more I read the more excited I get. I am starting to understand how serious this is as well. One girl left to have surgery and has not come back and neither have her clients. Some of her clients were so attached they quit coming when she was not there any more. Some clients come to see other people. I am so very excited about this new job. I think I am really going to love it.
Lori is hopefully having a baby today! Everyone please pray that everything goes well.

Update on Savannah

Savannah seems to have a little bit of acid reflux. So, that means it hurts for her to eat and that is why she is not eating much. We started her on medicine for it tonight and I hope it helps. She seems to be miserable some times and there is not much I can do about it. This too shall pass and all will be better. That is the great thing about babies/toddlers/pre-schoolers, if they are going through a rough phase, most the time it will end soon.

This was the best weekend ever! Cade had a blast getting soaking wet in the fountain and Savannah went to the beach for the first time.

Addicted to Oreos

I took the kids to their second day of daycare today. Savannah was asleep when she got there, so she did great. Cade was so excited to go, but cried when I left. I am sure he is doing fine though. He enjoyed yesterday once he got used to it, so hopefully after this week he won't cry any more. We have to take Savannah to the doctor this afternoon because she isn't eating enough. She seems to be growing and she is a happy baby, so I am sure everything is ok. We have always had problems with feeding her, she is so finicky!

It is really weird being home without the babies right now. I had to call and ask for the day off, my second day at my new job. I felt bad doing it, but my daughter comes first. My boss is pregnant right now, so she was really understanding about it, or at least she seemed to be.

On a completely random note, I am TOTALLY addicted to oreos right now! I can't get enough of them but I do control myself. I'm not pregnant so I don't know where this is coming from, but I have to have oreos all the time. If Eric eats any, it gets ugly. I never had cravings like this when I was pregnant. It is so weird!!

I am finally starting a blog. We will see how long it lasts. I am going to try to post pictures for those who want to see them and I am sure this will mainly be used to talk about my babies.

However, I did start a new job today at Jenny Craig and I am super excited about it! After reading the material it made me realize what horrible eating habits I have.

Of course, my marriage, family, and friends are all very important to me and worth talking about. So, if you see your name come up, I hope you know it is only out of love.
